A $138 million makeover of the Atlanta Marriott
Marquis, the city’s largest hotel, is wrapping up. New features
include the Pulse cocktail lounge, a sports bar, 11,000 square feet
of meeting space and touch-ups to all 1,663 guest rooms. This July,
a 6,000-square-foot health club and spa, a new 25,000-square-foot
ballroom and the redesigned Marquis ballroom will debut. (404)

Key changes: Formerly the House of Blues Hotel;
all meeting space was creatively redesigned and now features varied
room shapes, contemporary sculptures and one 36-foot-long video
wall.

million square feet. Key features: a
105,000-square-foot casino, the Canyon Ranch SpaClub, the Shoppes
at Palazzo, the 250,000-square-foot Palazzo Pool Deck and nine

approximately 5,000 square feet. Key changes: the
addition of a 2,970-square-foot ballroom and a soft-goods
renovation of the Grand Ballroom.

Meeting space: 23,000 square feet. Key
changes: A new reception area features check-in kiosks,
and a new 24-hour gym was added.
