Gaming giant MGM Mirage announced last week that its board of directors will propose the company change its name to MGM Resorts International. The change will be subject to shareholder approval at the annual meeting on June 15. According to MGM, the name change would more accurately reflect "its collection of signature resorts and its global reach."
