Le Méridien will brand its first hotel in New Orleans in fall 2014, taking over the W Hotel in the city's French Quarter. The property will undergo a $29 million renovation beginning next April. Plans call for 410 guest rooms, a fitness center, a rooftop pool, more than 10,000 square feet of meeting space and several dining options.
