Rosewood Phuket to Open in Thailand Next Month

Rosewood will open the 71-room Rosewood Phuket in November, its first resort in Southeast Asia. The luxury property will be on more than a third of a mile of unspoiled beachfront on Thailand's Emerald Bay.

The resort's grounds represent a diverse landscape, including hilltop forest, lakes, wetland and beach; the many floor-to-ceiling windows and open spaces will allow guests to feel immersed in the natural surroundings. All guest rooms are designed in a residential style and range from 1,400 square feet to a nearly 8,600-square-foot, two-bedroom unit. Each accommodation will have its own private infinity pool.

On-site F&B options will include Ta Khai, an authentic rustic Thai seafood restaurant; Red Sauce, an Italian restaurant with sweeping views; the Shack, for seafood by the pool; and Mai, a chic poolside lounge.

Rosewood also will debut Asaya at the Phuket, a spa and wellness program that includes alternative therapies, lifestyle coaching, fitness activities and healing practices. A fitness center, a children's club and a beachside infinity pool will be on-site as well.
