The 241-room W Scottsdale Hotel will unveil a new collection of penthouse suites in February, just in time for the Super Bowl, which takes place in Glendale, Ariz., Feb. 12. The five new rooms will bring the hotel’s total of penthouse suites to 17.
The custom suites range in size from 1,000 to 2,700 square feet and are comprised of a one-bedroom Fantastic Suite and four two-bedroom layouts: two Extreme Wow Suites and two Wow Suites. Each features floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies, full kitchens with stainless-steel appliances, hardwood floors and laundries. They are accessible only by a private elevator.
“We are proud to expand our suite offerings at W Scottsdale to appeal to the most discerning guests looking for a luxurious and spacious stay in the vibrant heart of Scottsdale,” said general manager Todd Iacono. “As Scottsdale gears up to host a series of exciting sporting events, we look forward to welcoming domestic and international travelers by providing an additional selection of premier rooms.”
The hotel features 11,688 square feet of meeting space, including outdoor areas such as the 1,600-square-foot Sunset Lawn with views of the Sonoran Desert and Camelback Mountain. Also on-site are an Away Spa and a 24/7 Fit center. Local fitness studios run classes at the hotel and complimentary bike rentals are available for exploring the town.
For dining, modern Asian fare is served at Sushi Roku, while an American menu is available at the Cottontail Cafe & Lounge, the Living Room (the hotel's lobby) and the Wet Deck.
